Description of Position
Client is seeking a Sr. Test Analyst for their newly created software test organization (Test Center of Excellence) that is responsible for testing. The Test COE will be responsible for testing methodology/practices evolution, reviewing/approving various test documentation, cross workstream testing management, test-related standards, test metrics, test reporting, test reuse, test tracking, test evaluation, etc for the Client’s Enterprise. The Sr. Test Analyst opening is to provide an additional resource for the Test COE providing support and assistance to the Test Manager and to manage testing across workstreams. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Assist in managing cross workstream testing efforts. * Assist in establishing standards for Software QA. * Assist in implementing improvements in test methods and strategies. * Assist with ensuring project’s understanding and usage of testing processes. * Facilitate and drive automation and performance testing efforts and any off-shore testing and bulk testing. * Help Test leads with questions/issues. * Document, update and organize testing materials according to defined procedures.

Required Skills
* 5+ years experience leading mid-size project testing efforts. * 3+ years experience gathering requirements for automation and performance testing. * Expert in HP Quality Center test management software. * Past participation in projects using an Agile methodology. * Proven experience testing vendor delivered solutions. * Experience translating requirements into application test cases. * Utilization of one or more test automation tools. * Solid knowledge of current Testing/QA methodologies, best practices, and toolsets. * Experience with following requirements through an RTM. * Ability to analyze information and break down complex problems. * Ability to perform independent research, utilizing team member input as necessary.

Non-Technical Skills
* Energetic self-starter, with desire to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment. * Ability to confirm objectives and drive them according to plan with a minimum oversight. * Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities when situation requires. * Impeccable verbal and written communication.
