Staff Augmentation Services
Our staff augmentation services provide our clients with the personnel having skills the client needs, but allows the client to manage the resources within its own methodology and to maintain responsibility for the deliverables of the project or assignment. Merge offers several types of staff augmentation services, each with particular benefits for the client:
- Straight contract. Provides the necessary resources, relieving the client of many of the responsibilities of hiring employees while shielding against issues of co-employment.
- Contract-to-hire. Appropriate when the client is uncertain of whether permanent head-count will be needed, when the demand for the resource is too urgent to wait for the client’s normal hiring process, or when the client, or both client and contractor, would like to evaluate the potential relationship without making a commitment up-front.
- Employee placement/referral. Under this type of agreement, Merge refers individuals to the client to consider for direct hire as employees of the client. The client benefits from the extensive industry relationships of Merge and our recruiting expertise and resources.
- Apprentice, or co-op, programs. Tailored to the specific needs of a client, these programs utilize an innovative approach by Merge to help clients find and prepare college recruits for working in business environments, leveraging our relationships with leading universities.
